So this weekend is AnimeUSA ~! Can't wait to go~! Going with my bf and my two lovely 'sisters' ^ ^ Given I don't do anything too crazy all year this is like the little vacation for the year. Going to be arriving Friday afternoon by train and heading straight to the convention where we have a hotel room at the very hotel its being held in. The whole thing is a beautiful set up. Really looking forward to it. Going to be dressing up as Maleficent (when she is young) and have almost everything ready. Was a blast~! Getting there and coming back went smoothly, no real problems were had other then just traffic. Met a lot of really friendly people there which made me real happy. Last year when I had gone, I tried telling 2 people that their cosplays looked great and I got sneered at, so the friendliness was welcomed. I personally have no pictures as my two adorable 'sisters' took them so anything being posted will take a little. I cosplayed Maleficent and I will admit it did turn out better then I had hoped but there is so much room for improving it. How has everyone been? Haven't posted a journal in awhile, been so busy with work and such that I barely have time for me XD Lots of snow and ice going on around here, I hate it so much. I have never ice-skated more in my life. Nothing like being reminded how I tore my muscles last year on a daily basis lol. So yeah, Juno has come and hopefully gone. Wasn't as much snow here as they said it would be but it sure was a lot. They had declared state of emergency and no one was allowed to drive after 11 pm last night, but I wasn't going to work anyways. Amtrak wasn't really running anything (especially my train) and NJ Transit stopped travel after 8 pm so I couldn't even if I wanted to. I hate snow... killing my knees...
